India Creates History By Beating Pakistan 7-1! Biggest Victory By Margin Against Pakistan Ever!

Not only are cricket fans enjoying the India-Pakistan fever, but even the hockey fans have tasted the fun today. It’s a super day for India, as it has beaten Pakistan in Men’s FIH Hockey World League Semifinals by 7-1 today.
What a proud moment for the nation! This is biggest victory by margin for India in Hockey. Earlier, biggest win for India was 7-4 victory over Pakistan, on 2 occasions (Champions Trophy-Amstelveen-August 22, 2003, Commonwealth Games-Delhi-October 10, 2010).
On the other hand Pakistan’s biggest win is 7-1 victory over India, on 2 occasions (Champions Trophy-Karachi-January 3, 1980; Asian Games-Delhi-December 1, 1982).
On one hand, people are under pressure about the winner of Champions Trophy and on the other hand, India has defeated the rival with a wonderful score in hockey. We have a great reason to celebrate today.
If you’re not aware about this event then let us tell you about it. Men’s FIH Hockey World League Semifinals event will take place in June and July 2017 in 2 parts. 1st part is held in London, England from 15th June – 25th June. A total of 10 teams are part of this event.


2nd part of this event will be held in South Africa and again 10 teams will participate in it. Total of 7 teams will qualify for Men’s FIH Hockey World League Finals that will be held from 1st Dec-10th Dec in Bhubaneswar, India. Since India is host so they will get direct qualification and they will be 8th team.
This semifinal round of the event will also serve as a qualifier for the 2018 Men’s Hockey World Cup as the 10/11 highest placed teams apart from the host nation and the five continental champions qualify for the world cup.
